Skipcart Pay Model?

The Skipcart Pay Model

Skipcart has created a pay model that is designed to make earnings fair, consistent, and transparent for every delivery. For each delivery, you will earn at least $1 plus customer tip, but Skipcart will ensure that your total earnings (including tips) are never less than the amount you’re guaranteed when you’re offered a delivery. Below is more detailed information about how earnings work.

What is the Guaranteed Minimum?

The guaranteed minimum is the amount, including tips, that you’re shown when you’re offered a delivery. The guaranteed minimum is based on a variety of factors including the size of the order,  and the projected driving distance, traffic, parking, and wait time at the store.

You will never earn less than the guaranteed minimum if you accept and complete the delivery, and you might earn more.

How Do Earnings Work?

For each delivery, you will always receive at least $1 in Skipcart base pay plus 100% of your tips. Larger food or catering orders may have a higher minimum.

When base pay plus tip is less than the guaranteed minimum, Skipcart will make up the difference.  Please use the following sample payments to help understand how driver payments are broken down in the Skipcart app.  Guaranteed minimums will vary based on each delivery

Extra Earnings

If we offer an extra dollar amount per delivery, such as Rush Hour Bonus, Bonus Delivery or on-time pay, you will get that dollar amount on top of the guaranteed minimum (or the $1 + customer tip if that amount is higher) if the requirements for that extra pay are met.
