It's that time of year and you will be receiving your annual tax forms from Skipcart. Make sure you complete ALL necessary steps below to receive your tax forms. If you do not complete by 1/27/2021, there will be a delay in receiving tax forms.
What you need to do next?
- Log in to the Skipcart app.
- Click the Hamburger menu next to "My Dashboard"
- Click on Banking
- Click Edit Bank account (you might see "setup bank account)
- Update your address, city state and postal code (only if incorrect)
- Update the bank name account number and routing number
What happens next?
A copy of your 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC will be sent to the address in the app. If you do not receive the 1099 within the first two weeks of February, contact support in the Skipcart app.
About Tax Forms
What is it? An official IRS tax document providing a summary of promotion, referral, and other miscellaneous payments for the year. Form 1099-NEC is not a replacement for Form 1099-MISC. Form 1099-NEC is only replacing the use of Form 1099-MISC for reporting independent contractor payments.
Who gets it? Drivers and delivery people who received $600 or more of these types of payments. There is no ride or delivery threshold to receive this document
