Drivers receive 100% of customer tips. When there is not a tip on an order, Skipcart applies the average order tip in your area and applies it to that delivery. If a customer tip is below the average tip in your area. Skipcart will make up the difference and apply it to that delivery. For customers that tip after the delivery is complete, you will receive the customer tip and your Delivery pay.
You can check your electronic tips by logging into your Skipcart App. Tips are added to your account as they are received and processed. Customers may tip from some stores up to 30 days after the completion of the delivery. Drivers currently can see the total payments received in the Skipcart App for the daily total. Post tips that come in after the delivery have been completed will be added to your weekly pay on Monday.
You will not have to report your cash tips to Skipcart, but you are required to report them on your taxes.
