Completing Task - Delivery Problems and Help Options

There are two different types of Help menus in your Skipcart app. 

One is accessed by clicking  HELP in the top right hand corner of your screen. 


The other is a link within each task that says Problem With This Order


Help Menu

The Help menu is used when you are having issues that involve the entire delivery or you can not reach the stop location for any reason. Use the Help menu for these cases: 


  • I don't want this delivery (Remove yourself from the delivery before completing your first task)

  • I can't get to the location

    • I can't find the address

    • I am blocked from arriving

    • I am involved in an accident

  • I want to know more (general support and learning articles)



Problem With This Order

When you are picking up, dropping off, or returning orders, you will find a link in the task saying "Problem With This..." which you can tap when you are having an issue completing that particular task. 



Problem With This Order - Pickup options:


I don't want this order

I don't want this order is an option you can use when you do not, for whatever reason, want that particular order. Choosing this option will remove the order from your delivery and any additional associated stops. If it was the only order on your delivery you will be returned to the Main Screen where you can wait for a new delivery offer. 


Store is closed

If you arrive to a stop and find that you can not complete your task because the store is closed. Choosing this option will remove the order from your delivery and any additional associated stops. If it was the only order on your delivery you will be returned to the Main Screen where you can wait for a new delivery offer.


Store has no record of order

It is possible to arrive to a store and find out that no one there has any record of that customer's order coming across their system. Choosing this option will remove the order from your delivery and any additional associated stops. If it was the only order on your delivery you will be returned to the Main Screen where you can wait for a new delivery offer.


I’ve waited past "pickup time" for the order and it still isn’t ready.

If you arrive at a stop and the store is behind schedule causing you a long wait time, you can choose this option 1 minute after the scheduled pickup time. If you have waited the allotted time you will be paid a stop fee for your time. Choosing this option will remove the order from your delivery and any additional associated stops. If it was the only order on your delivery you will be returned to the Main Screen where you can wait for a new delivery offer.



Problems With This Order - Dropoff options:


Customer is not present

Depending on the contents of an order, you will have different options available to you when the customer is not present once arriving to make a delivery. 

  • Dispose - Disposed of the items as you see fit. This will complete delivery for this order. 

  • Return - Return the items to the pickup location. Once returned the delivery is complete for this order. 

  • Left at front door - Leave the items safely at the front door and take a picture that clearly shows the items and the location's address or door number. This will complete delivery for this order.

  • Left at front desk - In an office building with the receptionist. This will complete delivery for this order.

  • Left with someone else - Could be anyone that you feel will will make sure it gets to the customer. This will complete delivery for this order.


NOTE* Make sure you have called and texted the customer using the in-app buttons before marking an order as Customer is not Present. If you have left the order somewhere please text them and let them know where and send them a picture. 


Customer Refused

If a customer had previously canceled their order or are unhappy with the contents because it is incorrect or damaged they have the right to refuse the delivery. In this case, these are the options for completing the delivery. 


  • Dispose - Disposed of the items as you see fit. This will complete delivery for this order.

  • Return - Return the items to the pickup location. Once returned the delivery is complete for this order.
