What is the screening process?

You must pass a background check before you can accept delivery requests using the Skipcart app. At a minimum, a new background check report is required annually (in some cities, more frequently). You may also be enrolled in a new offense notification program, intended to proactively notify Skipcart when there has been a relevant change in your criminal history.

In the United States, background checks are performed by Checkr, Skipcart's third-party background check provider. The background check does not include a credit check.

Your consent is required before we can initiate a background check in connection with your request to partner with Uber. Where permitted, your consent will allow Skipcart to request additional background checks during the term of your relationship with Skipcart. You'll also need to provide:

- A valid Social Security Number (SSN)
- A valid U.S. Driver's License

Background checks usually take 3-5 business days to complete but can take longer depending on a number of factors such as county courthouse processes. Please note that while you may have received notice of your completed report from Checkr, Skipcart may require additional time to review the results.
