Updating Location Permissions

Give the Skipcart app permission to use your location.


The Skipcart app needs to use your location data for the following reasons:


  1. To find new delivery offers nearest to you. 

  2. To help our pickup partners have items ready when you are on your way to the pickup, this helps avoid your having to wait for the delivery items.

  3. To help customers know when you are arriving with their goods. 


To use the Skipcart app successfully, please make sure the following settings are set to "ALWAYS."


NOTE* Skipcart does not use your location information when you are OFFLINE in the Skipcart App. 


iOS Location Permissions 


Tap the LOCATION section




Set access to ALWAYS and PRECISE



Return to the Skipcart app




Android Location Permissions


Tap the PERMISSIONS section 




Tap the LOCATION section




Choose ALLOW ALL THE TIME



Return to the Skipcart app


Trouble Shooting

If you are unable to go online, a few account issues may be stopping you:

- Your background check is still pending.


- Your documents have expired.


- You are driving outside the service area of your sign-up city.


- You recently uploaded new documents and they are pending review.


- You have not downloaded the newest version of the Skipcart app.


- Your account is on hold due to a reported accident or incident.


- Your location settings may be turned off, or you may be experiencing a data or cellular network issue.
