When a delivery is available near your location, you might receive an offer in the driver app. This article explains the information on the offer screen and how to manage single and batched deliveries.
The delivery offer screen
Each delivery offer includes key details to help you decide if you want to accept. You will have a limited time, indicated by a timer on the screen, to review the offer.
The offer screen includes:
- Map View: Shows the route from the pickup location to the customer's drop-off address.
- Estimated Pay: The total amount you will earn for completing the delivery. This includes base pay and any expected tip amount.
- Total Mileage: The estimated distance from your current location to the pickup location and on to the drop-off location.
- Pickup Location: The name and address of the business where you will pick up the order.
- Drop-off Location: The delivery address for the customer.
How to accept an offer
To accept a delivery offer, tap the Accept button before the timer on the screen expires. If you do not want to accept, you can let the timer run out.
To accept a delivery from the map
Available deliveries may appear as icons on your map screen.
Tap a delivery icon on the map to view the offer.
Review the pop-up window to see the order details, including the estimated earnings and number of items.
Tap Accept to claim the delivery and proceed to the pickup location.
If you tap Decline, the offer will close.
If the timer on the offer expires, the offer will close. You can tap the icon again to see the details if the delivery is still available.
Single and batched deliveries
You may receive offers for a single delivery or a batched delivery.
- Single Delivery: One order picked up from a single location and delivered to one customer.
- Batched Delivery: Two or more orders picked up from the same location and delivered to multiple customers. Batched deliveries are displayed as a single offer with one total payment amount and are routed to be efficient.
